Woodholme Construction Services are proud to be a key player in the construction of a new special needs school near Mansfield in Nottinghamshire.

Working for main contractor BAM, Woodholmes have successfully completed all the sub-structure, foundation and floor slab works all ahead of programme.

The works commenced during the recent extreme wet winter when conditions were at their worst. Despite this Woodholmes Site Manager, Dave Wills has successfully driven the site team to not only catch up with the tight programme but to surpass it. All reinforced floor slabs are now poured and handed over. Once the superstructure is nears completion Woodholmes will commence on the external works package ready for the school to open its doors in the summer of 2014.

Fountaindale School caters for pupils aged 3 to 19, who have complex physical and sensory needs. We are sure that their new facilities will not only enhance the environment for the pupils, but also provide new and exciting teaching opportunities to the staff.
